What year are you referring to since your sig lists 2 c3's which have a different procedure? Here are the steps out of Haynes manual for a 78 and up

1. remove left air distribution duct
2. remove instrument cluster screws (speedo & tach)
3. remove speedo cable, disconnect electrical connector and remove
4. remove the 2 screws on the left door pillar that help hold the dash then slightly pull out to access the switch.
5. remove mounting screws, disconnect electrical and remove.
6. installation is the reverse.

Must be an easier way.

If you think your hands hurt from the t-arms, just wait till you get to the wiper switch, I thought I was going to pull the whole dash to get to it and the headlight switch. My big hands looked like I got in a fight with a mad cat after the battle with my 78. But the above post is a good start, I ended up pulling the intrument cluster out to get to it better.

Just a few screws on a 72 to remove the instrument cluster and there sets the switch.

Default wiper switch

If your talking about your 76 vette, it is easy, there are only four screws on the assembly. Two small ones go through the top into the dash and two others (one on each side) hold the swich assembly to the gauge panel, when you remove these the whole assembly will pull forward and you can unplug the wiper switch from the harness. Takes all of about 5 minutes. I hope this helps
