Damnit, I've blown my Corvette budget for awhile, but this just might be too good to pass up.
I haven't driven it yet, but the items were good quality.
One problem I had was a missing 'bumper bolt' that holds the
lower ball joint on the side. I messaged Dan, and he had one
out the door that day. Good parts, great service, and decent price.
Oh - I did find the tie-rod boots to be cheesy, but that
is a common problem - not Van Steel. I cleaned up the originals to reuse.
I'll bet dollars to donuts that half the folks out there with C3s
need this kit, but don't realize it (yet).
While you're at it, consider 460 front springs, or cut your stock
springs down a bit. Stock springs need a compressor, or you
will be wrestling them in.

So should we just call the number you posted if we want to avoid absorbing shipping up front?

I will definetly keep it in mind. Thanks

I had never worked on any suspension before. Did the complete front end rebuild (all control arm bushings, ball joints, tie-rod ends & springs) including sand blasting and painting all 4 control arms and new calipers in two days.
Granted, I did have my dads help who is a regular on working with suspension- but I did all the work- he helped me out when I got stuck. I would not have had much diffuculty doing it without his help though- probably would have taken a while longer.
Hardest part was indeed removing the old bushings- and getting the stubborn ball joints to let go. Once I used a torch to burn out the old bushings it wasn't too hard.
Two days (not even close to 9-5) and it was ready to go to the alignment shop!
