Serpentine System - A/C Question
I installed a serpentine system I pulled from a junked Police Caprice. It looks similar (if not identical) to the system sold by GM Performance Parts.
The A/C compressor for this setup is very short compared to the stock vette one. As such, the lines don't reach to the rear of the compressor.
Has anyone overcome this? Is there an over-the-counter part that could replace these lines - end of story?
Can the solid pieces of the lines be extended?
I have no A/C experience, with the exception of assembling and charging the system.
