I ORDERED AND ALLUMINUM DASH KIT FROM CORVETTE CENTRAL AND I WAITED 3 WEEKS TO GET A STICKER 
IT IS PLASTIC AND HAS 3M ADHIESIVE ON THE BACK 
IT'S GOING BACK TODAY!! GUESS I'LL HAVE TO MAKE MY OWN.

I ripped off the old woodgrain from my dash and was thinking about going with carbon fiber. I ordered a few samples from a few vendors but didn't like how thick the covers were. I finally found a place on the net that sells carbon fiber pieces. I'm thinking of making my own. Here is the link to the carbon fiber vendor if you're interested.

I finally took the woodgrain stickers off mine last night...I think the last guy put them on because some of the paint was peeling...
a little bit of super fine steel wool and some polish and those things shine up nice...now I can't decide if I want to paint it or not

I have been working 'off-and-on' turning an old '80 into a drag-car;
am making aluminum 'face-plates' for the gauge-cluster/shifter-console cover.
