7/16 Studs?

The bolt shank that screws into the head is 7/16 but the stud shank (what the rocker goes over) is 3/8. You can upgrade to 7/16 stud but that, of course, requires changing to 7/16 rockers too.

You don't need to go to 7/16 studs unless you are running big spring pressure. Like 400 pound springs or higher. That is solid roller territory. The 3/8 screw in studs will work fine in most SB applications. The 7/16 studs are BB studs put into SB heads.
