Recently purchased a 72vert and the mufflers on it are cheapos. Can anyone guide me to a set that gives that nice deep corvette throaty sound? thanks Mark

Flowmasters are nice but they tend to be loud. DynoMax has a balance of tone and quiet.

I have the Dynomax, sound really nice but are not annoying on the hiway. If you want loud, then go with flowmasters.

I went with MAD's chambered system and replaced everything from the exhaust manifold on back. Installation was simple after figuring out which part went where. No instructions were included.

I was looking at this setup but I afraid it will be to load. What do you think of the sound level and quality??

I currently have Flowmaster 40's- I personally think they are too quiet. They are loud behind the car, but not in the cabin at all. At idle, they sound just a touch of BLUB BLUB, but really quiet. I can actually hear the sterio- even at WOT. This may have to do with the restrictions getting to the FM's though. I still have 2.25" dual Y pipe setup- went with 2 1/2" from the cat back (future plans to do trual dual 2 1/2").

They will be for sale shortly as my Hooker side exhaust has come in... :-)
