You're pushing oil out of the dipstick tube? Sounds like you're trying to bandaid the symptom and not fix the problem. Obviously, you have excessive crankcase pressure. I dunno what would cause it tho. Maybe a stuck ring?
What's so wrong with a PCV valve in one head and in the other a line running to the air cleaner element?? That is the standard hookup and it works. I never see oil vapors or leaking over the valve covers.
Running open side pipes is just too loud, I value my hearing and don't want to annoy everyone within a mile of me.
Right, and if this system properly set up can't control crankcase puke then something else aint right.
I don't get the theory of radical street engines needing more than a standard pcv. Excessive crankcase pressure, read blowby in any case should be investigated
Here we go again..........
If you are looking for a vacuum setup, the following pumps probably will work:
Ford vacuum pump (I think used on Cobras).
The engineering number is F6ZE-9A486-DC
THe cross to the ford computer catalogue is F6ZZ-9A486-DA.
GM vacuum pump (used for brakes on older Buick GN and Caddys)
Pump #-22062562
Electric plugin-12085485
The Ford pump is regualted at 10" of vacuum.
I've also read of many who have used these and they could not cut it at hight RPM (>5000). I understand that a "normal" PCV setup is also not doing anything at WOT, so this may not be so bad.

Well, I have a standard PCV and I'm still getting too much crankcase pressure. I've run a leakdown and compression test, and both are fine. Is there something else I should try? I'll try anything at this point.
