I do all the work on mine myself, but my friend that has a 69 that is mechanicly challenged take his to The Last Detail. I've seen the work they have done to his and it looks pretty good. Not sure if they are part of TLD or are just in the same building as them.

When you say Atlanta corvettes do you mean the one off Lavista, never really liked that place, the people there seem arrogant to me. I saw a C-3 there that I wanted to look at so I stopped in . I was in my work truck, and it was one of the few days of the year that I actually had to do physical work for an emergency call. 3 salesmen outside wouldn't even come over to talk to me, even after they finished with who they were talking to. So I finally hollered what do you want for this one and the sales guy told me I might be more interested in that one. A rag for a fixer upper. I politely got in my truck and left. I'm not trying to brag here but I make enough money to buy any car they have, outside or on the showroom. So if that is the place you are reffering too, I would hope the mechanics have better customer skills than the salesmen.

The mechanic over off of La Vista is actually known as Dave's American Sportscar. I had some work done there once and I wouldn't go back. They ended up charging me $100 more than quoted, which is OK if they ran into a problem, but they didn't do some work they said they did and kept the part.

Jim Watson of Performance Concepts, 770-978-7400, 1166 Webb Gin House Rd., Lawrenceville, GA 30245 has a good rep. Before TLD moved and started their own shop the guys there took their heavy work here. The guys at TLD, known as MC Corvettes, seem knowledgeable as well.
