Jeff (good timing - I just wrote this on a PM reply!)
So basically talking to Paul at hydroboost and also with other forum members, I learned that you actually need to drill the pump orifice in the stock pump bigger to allow the flow needed by both the rack and the hydrobooster. This worked perfectly and if you send me your email, I can attach some files that will spell everything out for you!
Mike
Mike,
Looks great.
BTW, could you e-mail those files to me too?
I have Hydroboost and just picked up my new Steeroids kit today!!

Yeah man - Diehard Eagles! Born in VA but family from Philly yada yada...
What is this Silver Diner thing? Which one? What time?etc.
I do know about Chick Fil-et/Lowes on Friday night in Sterling but I havent made it there yet...
Looking good. I've always liked those wheels. I have given some thought to the hydroboost but that will have to be later on. Right now, my brakes do an adequate job. Do you have any build plans for the box? I want to do something similiar for my 70 convertible so maybe I can hear the radio every now and again.
Eddie - the box is 33.5" Wide, 13" Deep and the height is 8" in front and angles down to 6.5" in back to make room for the AstroTop. Whichever sub you use (some subs are deeper) will dicate how much angle you can use. I picked up a low profile PPI PC104 because it is only 5.5" Deep but that box is not quite enough airspace for it - sounds fine to me but could sound better in a bigger box...
Thanks for taking the measurements Mike. I printed them off and may use them to build my own. Just curious, did you build your box?
No I did not - I have a stereo guru buddy who hooked me up although I did help measure so my top would fit etc.
I do know that you need to use 3/4" thick wood for the proper bass resonance and seal it with something like silicone. Also you can get carpet at any stereo shop and can use the same adhesive glue you would use for the carpeting in our cars. The sub you buy will have in the documentation what optimum airspace you need for that particular sub. Tons of info on the web as well for building boxes - I think one is 12volt.com and also there's a stereo forum on our site here...
Looks awesome - what size are your rear wheels? Did you do any suspension mods to fit them in?
Thanks -
Rear are 15x8.5 with a 3.5" BS with 255/60/15
Front are the same with 235/60/15
No mods necessary at all with those size tires - BUT you cannot go any bigger tire in the front with that BackSpacing - ask me how I know...
I really wanted 295/50/15 and 265/50/15 but even if I had gone to the trouble of relocating the e-brake tab, they would have stuck out too much from the fenders.
On this forum, Motorhead has that setup with the ConvoPros and it looks perfect, but I think the later C3s must have had more room in the rear for some reason. I would have had to get flares for mine...

Slideshow: A Jaguar designer's personal project imagines what a modern front-engined Corvette might look like if Chevrolet revisited the golden age of the Stingray.
