Default bulb socket question

Finishing up my interior and I am missing the heater control bulb socket. From my aim I see that it was a double wire socket since the console needs a ground wire. (Thanks GordonM) It seems as if nobody has these doulble wire sockets so my question is how can I wire this to work with one of the single wire sockets since I have some of those. Thanks from an electrical newbie.

Well I just had to do something similar. My courtesy light socket on the passenger side footwell had the same problem. The ground wire was not staying in the socket. The wire is there but it was not in the socket. I soldered the ground wire to the side of the bulb. It took a little work to get it to stick but I was able to do it. I filed the side to roughen up the ataching point and just kept working at it. It has held up so far. I did it about a month ago and have had the car out a couple of times and it is still lighting up.
