Fixed mast antenna, do I have everything?
I need to replace the antenna that came on my car. I believe it was for an cb because it is non power and has a swivel ball that the antenna screws on to. I want to ditch all that and go to a standard non-power antenna. I'm gonna place an order today, but what exactly do I need and how does it all go together?
I have this in my basket, but what else do I need or need to remove?

Not sure about an '80, but on my '69 there is a plate (called a ground plane - number 5 in picture) under the fender and the part that the antenna mast fits into is part of the antenna cable (part 7) so you may need these two parts as well. In addition to the ground plane there is a ground strap (part 9) that connects the ground plane to the frame.
