30ft. lbs. Wow! My Qjet takes only 10-14 ft-lbs and the bolts are still turning in the aluminum manifold when the wrench clicks at 10. I'd have to use threaded inserts to get any more torque and the Qjet couldn't handle it anyways.

I think he meant the Intake manifold and not the card....

Ooooopps. :o I just torqued my carb recently and was thinking carb leaks - forgot he changed manifolds too. But hey, if Cali ever returns to a Qjet he'll know what to torque it to. cardo0
Now the air leak is fixed but it developed a small oil leak on the front right hand side. I used the small tube attached to the Pertmatex Grey tube and injected it into the small crease between the block and intake. Give it 24 hours to cure and it should be fine as that area is not under pressure just oil splash from the oil pump.
