In the Chevy Power Manual it tells you to paint the chassis white after welding up the seams. The book states that white should be used because it shows cracks the easiest.

Probably the same logic for the gray.

Yes. Same for light gray. This frame was white for years. Won a bet on this frame over cracks when it was sand blasted.

Impressive work !
I have an '81,a street car, and I wont improve the brake cooling.About your experience is the better with one inlet or two(I'm going to check the space)
