I have Hooker sidepipes and WP SportsmanII angle plug heads. Clearance is such that I can remove all eight plugs in less than 10 minutes. No tubes are dimpled. The closest is #4 which has a little less than 1/2" clearance from the boot to the tube. I have to use an offset 5/8" wrench for that plug because I can't get a socket on it. I also use ACCEL "shorty" plugs and 90 degree boots.

I have angled heads call Sanderson Headers they are a sponser and listed on the left they have headers to fit angle heads I bought the block hugger headers, jet coated because I went with the Marsh serpentine pully system and needed the room.

I cant tell from your sig pic, but do you have your alt mounted on the drivers side or the passengers side? Im doing a serpentine system myself, from Jones Racing, but had planned on using the alt on the passengers side. Does this make any difference in header room? Im not going to be running a/c, just water pump, alt, power steering, its all Ill need...I think.

Alt is on drivers side I am running a/c, that's why I had to go with the block huggers, tube headers would not clear alt, call sanderson they can answer all your questions, they helped me a great deal.

yea Im VERYYY set in my ways on making Hooker Sidepipes work hahaha Ive heard a lot has to do with the flange, and if you machine it a bit it makes things work nicely on the angled heads...Im sure there is a way...plus I dont see why I cant mount my alt on the passengers side, thats what Ive done with all my other 350 based blocks...I have no use for A/C....I just simply cant SEE a conflict...*ponders*
