It's not the size of the hammer, but how you use it....

However, more beer does, in fact, make cars go faster.

Looks like a great time Next time, the CCC is going to have to make a road trip just to make sure we get Lars back.

Yeah....I wondered about that also when he dropped the pic disk by the other day...very clean-cut and civil. Very spooky, indeed....must be his hallowedweenie costume, or else those southern boyz tuned him up some with his tuning tool..... We'll have to get him back to civilized CCC work this weekend at the Viking Lounge when we fix up your 409...

I hope you Florida guys checked your tool chests, fridges, and got all the drool wiped out of the float bowls. We at the CCC have been trying to correct the good Doc on some of these minor manors-related issues.....

Hey LARS. November 6th is fast approaching. Mrs. Cali needs to know what tunning fuel needs to be stocked up for San Diego tunning/ beer fest.

The Tuning Tours are always tons of fun! Although the events are usually hosted by local groups, we always seem to pull in a few people who have never met before. Getting people tgether like this to enjoy the cars and the hobby is just a fantastic way to enjoy a nice weekend.

Next Tuning for Beer Tour is coming up November 6th in San Diego. For information on this leg of the Tour, contact "Cali,68,L-79". I think all the slots for cars to be worked on are filled up, but we have plenty of room for people to come out and watch the fun and participate.

Hey Dave: Just tell Mrs. Cali that it just needs to be cold, come in a bottle, and it can't have any of the following words on the label: "light," "non" "free" or "low."

Also stay away from the ones with 'XXX' on them or it will be a short tuning session.

Hey Lars, when you coming to Orange County, CA? If you do, I'll host the tuning event. I can put 15 Vettes in the driveway and even have a "clear floor" lift in the garage to get under the beasties.

My '64 could use a few whacks with your magic hammer.

toddalin -
I'll be in San Diego in a week, but if you'd like to do an Orange County Tour, just put together a proposal and we'll do it. I can send you an info sheet on the Tuning Tour that includes some guidelines for putting on an event - just drop me an e-mail to:
V8FastCars@msn.com

15 cars might be a little optimistic, since I usually spend about 2 hours on each car in attendance.... with this is mind, you can figure about how many cars you want to do or how many days you'd like to have the event last. The most cars I have ever been able to do in a day has been 6 (Toronto Tuning Tour this summer I did 6 cars in about 9 hours). 4 is a reasonable number for a 1-day event if I encounter any problems. We did 6 in Panama City with a 2-day event, but we had 2 cars that fought me every step of the way...
