Default I got myself a....

blasting cabinet It's pretty big, a whole engine will fit in there, has a sturdy frame and a thick grate so it can hold some heavy parts.
Picture is crap but it's taken w/ a vid cam w/o flash (don't have a decent digital camera)

Looks like a nice one Twin Turbo. Is your compressor big enough to drive it??

Yes my compressor is big enough, in fact the blue thing next to it is my compressor, home built from an army surplus tank The compressor will easily deliver 160psi and a lot of flow, it's a 2 cyl. and the electro motor is a 380V unit.

I don't have a plasma cutter, I almost bought one but it was pick up, no shipping and it was a 300 mile drive (one way), I didn't want to drive that far for it.

Looks great! I'm going to put together a a 4-post lift this weekend, and hopefully can fit one of those blasting cabinets in the carage too!

I have one and it's one of those tools that when you have a job that needs a plasma cutter, nothing else will do -at least not easily. Saved my bacon more than once. Yep, plasma cutter and sawsall. Greatest tools ever invented.

I agree that the sawzall is magical. I use it far more than I'd care to admit. I'm also very fond of my impact wrench and cut off wheel.

TT I'm envious!

I'm pretty well stocked in the pneumatic equipment and I have a 4 post Koni lift but will install that one in the new shop because it has no 2nd floor like this one and it's bigger, the new shop will also have a much thicker floor to support it properly.
