'81 Cruise Control Speedometer Question
After spending the first full day playing with my new toy, I've made many discoveries. One of these is that I have cruise control. Well sort of anyways. No power anywere and the control on the turn singnal seems to be missing.
My question is with the speedometer cable. Sinse my speedometer doesn't work, I though to replace the cables, but I'm not sure if the cruise control module has a mechanical connection. In other words, could the problem be in the module rather than the cables?

Yes, the problem could be in the transducer. If you are missing parts and don't care if it works anyway, I would just buy the long one piece (non cruise control) speedo cable that goes directly from the tranny to the speedo. Then at least your speedometer should work.
