it is my intention to post a couple of photo's of my 73 roadster now that it is restored (frame off) with a 502 ramjet and a richmond 6 speed. the overhaul has a substantial amount of mods but presents itself quite well as a modest package without appearing radical. it screams and begs for attention and is currently waiting for it's second outing here in the greater tampa area. if anyone has questions please feel free to reply to this post and i'll get back with you.....
terry, i write a note on my 502 ramjet and i have no idea how to post photo's to show the finished product with this post. do you know how i can get a few photo's on here with this thread?
thanks! steve
yes it is but if you compare it to the muncie 4 speed you'll see that it's capable of more power. the question wouls then be, how much torque can it withstand before it gives.........

502 Ramjetvette
Wow that is one nice looking vette. I was curious how you did your hood......I like the stinger look. Did you polish the throttle body intake yourself? nice job need more pics of the engine bay
That's not my car, just a link. Thought it stir some thoughts re hood clearance.
Paul, pardon my skepticism....but having owned a 67 BB many years ago and done the RamJet conversion on my 70, no way is there a RamJet 502 under that hood ??? prove me wrong....tell the guy we want to see under the hood...

Ok, now that I opened my mouth and inserted foot..... before I went to the guy's web page, I apologize I thought I had a challenge with raising my L-88 hood 1" My effort pales in comparison

the hood was originally a 3" cowl hood. it didn't fit in the front due to the angle of the injection plenum. it was decided by the superstar engine and tranny installer (Greg Lovell) to slice the cowl riser off of the hood and build it up (with glass) and make it into a stinger. it compliments the car to a T!
