AC,
You caught me on that one. And you are probably right. I thought it was the 327/300 Powerglide with 1,725. That is what I have.

A couple of years ago we had fun in this Forum with this kind of post rather than NCRS-bashing. Do you know some C3 hidden secrets? Please post them! Others will learn from them and you may learn something new from responses! Hope you participate....

TT,
Sorry I disagree with you on that one. It had nothing to do with the cat con. It was the virgin version of computer control.

OK,
Looks good. Let's go with trivia. What's the difference between a C2 and an early C3 chrome bumper frame. Those who are considering frame-offs take heed.

When did the Corvette floor pan change from fiberglass to steel. And why?

In 76...I don't know the reason why, but maybe it's because the friggen fiberglass floor was so weak that the the whole thing flexed when you took a corner. JMO

It was my understanding that the 1980 305 California engine was the first one with a computer. In 1981 the computer became standard equipment on
all models.

Members speak of fat tires. What modifications were made at the GM factory to accomodate 255/60R15 tires?

I think they physically cut out part of the fiberglass in the wheel well.
Don't remember where or which part.

Matt,
My bad. You are correct. It was introduced nationally in 1981.

Nowhere Man,
You have caught me on that one. It might relate to the 63-64 vrs 65-67 braking systems but I am not sure. But nice to see persons engaging in the trivia round!
