I would be interested in learning more about the Ford 9 inch differential installation. Can someone provide some information? Is there a website I can access? I've already learned a little bit about the 31 spline axle shafts, the giant U-joint spiders, the 4 inch diameter half shaft axles, and the upgraded positraction housings. Anyhow I've seen several posts alluding to Ford 9 inch differentials and can someone explain why this is a good idea??? Thanks
The install is usually done by race car builders. Seriouse equipment and skill is needed that the average hobby mechanic doesn't have at home.. It's not an easy task.. Lot's of cutting and welding that needs to be done..
The reason to switch to Ford 9 inch is because the Independend Rear Suspension is not up to the task of holding up to high HP engines on slicks... There are upgrades available, but would cost big $$$$ and you'd still have to deal with u-joints...
Your pulling IT tomorrow AND Isosceles is gonna Help ??!!!!!
WOOAAAAHH Oliver...I did not know that part of you.
Good Luck.
Tomorrow this guy with this wax is doing an INFO-MERCIAL and I was asked to go. Big party & stuff. I thought I would leave the car dirty (2 weekends of racing) and do a before and after. Hey maybe I'll get a FREE WAXING.
WOOOAAHHHHH....Don't go there !!!!!
Then Corvette Christmas Party.
Hey Norm, you could come over and help if you want....
I am going to get deployed (Nov 05). I can still make a few thousand between then and now. I'm shooting to make money to both pay off all my bills and get Cali-2 a new paint job. GS3 sorry for hijacking your thread.

David, you know how some guys sell used parts around here, right. Well (this is going to sound gotta have an imagination) I wish you can sell the black paint on your '68. It sure doesn't look like it it needs a paint job. The '68 looks awesome.

thanks LOTA but it only looks good in pics, it's a 10' footer. 78 scratches on it and the paints 8 years old. What you see is 7 layers of shiny wax on old paint.
