The install is usually done by race car builders. Seriouse equipment and skill is needed that the average hobby mechanic doesn't have at home.. It's not an easy task.. Lot's of cutting and welding that needs to be done..

The reason to switch to Ford 9 inch is because the Independend Rear Suspension is not up to the task of holding up to high HP engines on slicks... There are upgrades available, but would cost big $$$$ and you'd still have to deal with u-joints...

I am going to get deployed (Nov 05). I can still make a few thousand between then and now. I'm shooting to make money to both pay off all my bills and get Cali-2 a new paint job. GS3 sorry for hijacking your thread.

thanks LOTA but it only looks good in pics, it's a 10' footer. 78 scratches on it and the paints 8 years old. What you see is 7 layers of shiny wax on old paint.
