New Spring Longer Bolts Update
Well the 8" bolts are in now and the rear end came down about 1.5 inches. I still have a little play/threads left but not much. Car looks much better and the ride is a little smoother. I can now put my spare tire tub back where it belongs and start thinking about a 4-wheel alignment. The vibration I had in the steering wheel in not as bad but it is still there at certain speeds.
Looked at a '96 convertible this morning at a roadside used car lot. Not a nice lot, but a nice car nonetheless. Green w/tan top. Asking $12.5K. Is this reasonable? I test drove it. Didn't want to get out of it. I'm used to my low power '75 L48.
