MSD distributor and ignition shielding
I've just bought and installed a Corvette Pro-Billet Distributor (MSD) on my 69 BB L-36. I'm now considering getting one of those ignition shielding that this car originaly came with. My question is: Will a stock ignition shielding for this type of engine fit around the new MSD distributor?

I can't give you a firm answer, but I can say that I have purchased the same distributor for my '80. The '80 came with a plastic dist. cover and even though it was for the HEI dist. I liked the chrome ones better.
So I have purchased a '74 HEI chrome cover to go on my new engine installation. I would speculate that it will be large enough to cover the MSD on mine and on yours still look somewhat original. jim
