Default 75 Heater Core
Is the heater core on a 75, that originally had AC, removed from the cabin, the engine compartment or both?

It is removed from the cabin. However there is one nut on the firewall in the engine compartment that you will need to remove first. That is the only one on the engine side. The rest are inside the car.

With an AC car you do it from the cabin,

Do yourself a favor, when you have that far down don't forget to replace you gages lamps too.
