Your link didn't work for me, but I think you meant this one:
http://store.summitracing.com/defaul...d-8365&x=0&y=0
That one looks pretty darn good to me.

streetrodstuff.com has the 8365 for $300.95. Summit will beat or match their price.

The Comp 9000 is Mechanical advanve it doesn't need vacuum! Works very well.

Default 8365 distributor

The 8365 does come with a coil. It is complete and ready to drop in.

I have no doubt that it's a fine distributer. In fact, I could use it for a 496 buildup I'm doing. PM me with the part number.

Default MSD, Vrs an HEI

Just thought I would throw my two-cents in on the subject. I to am a big fan of the MSD products as well. I have tried them all and to my suprise I tried a Pro Form el Cheap-O hei type dist. I was shocked at the way it performed, I installed it in my newest play toy a 79 Z28 stuffed with 468 CI of BB power. I set timing to acheive 35 degs of total advance at 3000 RPM and gave it a whirl. The results were great and it revs all the way 7000 grand no problem. Runs great on the street as well as on the track. Best of all was the price $119.95 not bad and if you like later on you can throw on a 6-AL with a minor modification (Jumper wire) available through MSD.
