Cross country twice. Daily driver for 10 years which equated averaged out to 6000 miles per due to multiple deployments.
2004 was a bad year due to the body work. Car spent 4 months in the shop in WA (they were slow), 6 weeks getting to me in RI and 5 weeks in the shop in RI getting painted. Hopefully 2005 will be better.
Even thouhg I just picked up my 78 this past summer I drove it everywhere. Changed most of the rubber and hoses and gaskets and such beforehand and since have only two breakdpwns. One was an ignition coil, had a spare fixed it on the side of the road (thanks to Malcolm and his 69 F.bird for the help) and towed once after the top rad hose split. Put on about 1000 kms. this summer, hope to do 5x that this coming summer. Gotta keep waving!!

two yrs driving no issues....blew a newly installed radiator hose off once two blocks from home.....perhaps it didn't get tightened down enough ...it was a delegated task....
mine is a daily driver. Rarely lets me down. This car even made the maiden trip home from Boston to SW Florida, and it wasn't in half as good shape as it is now.
There's only one thing that keeps going wrong: the gas tank doesn't stay full for as long as my other cars. ahh, the price we pay for acceleration.
