Default PS slave cylinder leaking

Has anyone used the rebuild kits for this? The shaft doesn’t seem to be scratched but the seal around it is leaking. If anyone has used one of these did you have good results? Are there any tricks of the trade I should know about?
Thanks,
Doug

I would suggest trying to repair it. If the repair doesn't take, you are not out much. I think the repair kits are less then 10 bucks. Might not hurt to rebuild the control valve while you are at it.

I did mine this summer. Don't have enought miles on the car yet to know if it will stay leak free.

It was pretty easy. If you go to www.corvettefaq.com and search (I think in the misc area) you will find some info from Jim Shea on how to do it.

As long as your rod is not scratched it should be fine after the seal pack is changed.

I was wrong. It's under steering and is called booster cylinder repair. It's a Word Doc.
