sealing void
What would be good to use to seal up the space between the frame and body and such on the front part of the rear wheel wells? I have this are cleaned up and painted and thinking it would be nice to use some sort of pucky-wad there to keep water and dirt from getting back in that area. Maybe something like that windshield black sealant that comes in the roll. It is terrible stuff to work with but at least a guy could get it back out if ever needed. Any better ideas?

I know and old phrase....'water wins'....every time, best thing to do is allow it to stay dry as possible, and blast the dirt/crap off of/out of the area with an air jet/blower high pressure....
keep it clean, you try sealing it up, water gets in there for sure, and promotes hell out of rust....destroy that frame in a heartbeat....
