half shaft length
I have a pair of half shafts that I got a while back that are 3 inches in diameter and about 16 1/4 overall length. The ones I have on my C2 are about an inch shorter. My question is, are the C3 halfshafts longer? or has someone purposely built these for some other hot rod application?

The 80-82 are 3/8 inch shorter than the earlier 2 1/2 inch shaft.
The early 2 1/2 inch C3 shafts are 13 7/8 (ujoint center to ujoint center). I think starting in 1980 or earlier, the halftshafts are 13 1/2 (ujoint center to ujoint center).
