Obviously, stingry..you have a vert..so there is no tight headroom problems..not sure if we are comparing apples to apples with coupe deminsions.

I'm 6'4" and 250lbs and fit fine. Only a problem if there is no tilt wheel, but I believe that was standard in 1982.

My head hits the top at times since I have new foam. Before it was fine. I'm 5'-10" and 260 lbs (beer gut) and my seat belt is a bit snug! But it's still a blast

Think your body proportions play a big part in it, I have somewhat short legs for being a little over 6'1" (32" inseam) so working the clutch is not too bad but I have trouble getting in and out with the top up on my 73.

I'm 5'-7" and can take off cloths...make love...put on cloths...switch seats...work on interior components...and do jumping jacks without taking the t-tops off in my Vette. Munchkins DO have more fun!!!!

I'm 6'2 325 lbs. I have a 78 Pace Car and I am comfortable. Granted it is a lot smaller than my 93 40th anniversary (It feels like a Suburban compared to the C3). My Pace car is not my daily driver but I have driven across town a couple of times 1 hr both ways with no complaints. Houston is big so it takes along time to go anywhere!

Glass t tops give you a little head room. The 79 and up seats are a better fit as well. Just get manual seat tracks unless you want to fab. the floor to fit them. A member on this forum that goes by Pinky modifies and rebuilds steering columns. So you could get a T/T column. This should give you plenty of room.

I think us big guys "wear corvettes" not drive them. Having said that I would rather be in my Vette then any other car I have driven.
I like that...I am 6'4", 225lbs and always felt like my pace car fits like a glove. I love it.

I'm 6'3" and with the T-tops on I have to duck & twist to enter/exit but once seated it's perfect. You really think I'm gonna complain? Even though it's 34 years old it's more comfortable than my Durango or the wifey's Equinox.
