is it ok to change from dexcool to the green stuff with a good flush

yes it is but I would keep it the org. brand that came with the car. What year is it? Usually a 96 was the only c4 that came with the orange stuff.

From what I hear and it makes sense too....if you change from one to the other you will have problems because just about no matter how good you flush it some will still be present and cause problems for example some of the dex stuff is soaked into the hoses etc...it doesn't take much to cause that unwated reaction that we hear about.

I'd stick with what came in it.
