Maybe I ought to come up with a freebe of some kind for everyone that took the time to vote. I know, we'll have a drawing for everyone that takes the time to poll. I'll have to look around for something everyone could use. I'll set a cut off date after I figure out what the prize will be. Any ideas? In the mean time, to enter the drawing you have to post a poll for your favorite Corvette mag.

Thanks,
Dave
How about a new set of tires???

Although I didn't select "Other" in the poll, I also read Corvette Magazine when I can find it.

Thanks for your input, that's the kind of stuff I'm trying to find out.

Corvette Fever, Vette, & Corvette Quarterly. Have not seen an issue of Corvette Enthusiast. I'll have to track down a copy and check it out!

I like to pick up a copy of CE whenever I am at the bookstore. I would like to subscribe, but I have been informed that I have "enough subscriptions" for the time being. I think that I'll get the school library to subscribe. Gotta get the next generation of Vette owners up to speed!

Oh, and yes I did vote.

everything except Corvette Quarterly, that one`s a little too snobbish for me. I hardly ever see a C4 article in that rag.

I've subscribed to Corvette Magazine since it first came out. It's where I found out about the Forum. Apparently, MidAmerica thinks I have a subscription with them too.

I also read Corvette Magazine which at E-Town we nicknamed "Vette Doctor Magazine" since the Vette Doctors contribute to the tech section and so many of their cars have been featured.

Also America's Sports Car which you receive as a member of the National Corvette Museum(which everyone on this forum should be a member of).

Corvette Fever and Vette, I don't read. The last time I read those, I couldn't believe half the BS I saw. Although I will pick up a copy if I know a forum member is in it.
Just curious, what do you find or know that Corvette Fever and Vette have in their magazines that warrant being called B.S? I subscribe to both magazines and am truly interested in why you said that. I'm simply inquisitive.

85 500 horse - allow me to comment.

If you read Vette and Corvette Fever enough, you will tire quickly of the high quality, colour printing "news letter" feel of the entire thing.

It's a damn sunshine pump. I hate them both. They have too many articles about blonde bimbos with pink 87 verts that have leopard skin seat covers. The issue that pushed me over the top was when Vette did a "tribute" to our men in service, by doing a photo shoot of their wives in skimpy outfits, holding guns, infront of Vette's. It was inane.

That and the total lack of C4 coverage.

I voted "other". I read stuff like Lowrider, Minitruckn' , Sport Compact Car....mainly for ideas to apply to my ride....and de-bling them for corvette use. Corvette rags seem not to be very diversified, aiming their target audience for the over 35 crowd, which I can understand - thats were usually the money crowd is. I give the ricer rags one thing, they're up to date on new technology.

I did pick up Corvette Quarterly a while back, felt like a flyer for an HMO plan.

Id definately read a C4 specific magazine. Im sure the reader base is there, since there are so damn many of us.

I picked "other" and it told me to comment. Well I hope that I am doing this in the right place. I do not subscribe to any Corvette mag because I want one that deals w/only C4 stuff. I remember the thread as well. There was a lot of talk about it. Did anything get started from that? I personally liked the idea of starting it on-line by monthly rates. What do you think?

This is kind of funny, I don't subscribe to any corvette related magizine. When I first joined the forum I posted a question very nearly like this and all I got was "Why buy a subscription when you're at the best place for info?", which I have come to agree with. With that being said, I will pick up whichever magizine that the local places have on the rack (not too many to choose from in this part of the country I'll see a another Vette about once a month maybe.) The one I seem to most impressed with is CE. At least they will have C4 article in it.

Mojo, I know Andy reads through the forums quite a bit and as the Editor of Corvette Enthusiast, he works hard to cover all the bases

Another article from Skyline was just run in the current month about a CF.com members car / family - I know he shot a rare C4 while up on Skyline as well, a combo seldom, if ever seen before on a C4

Enjoy!

I have a couple issues of Corvette Magazine they have articles about C4's in them. I will get a subscription in to them in future. Have not read any other vette magazines. IMHO its good to see that vendors of corvette parts take the time to look in on the CF, thanks. Save the Wave!! Michael

Blonde bimbos? Wouldn't want to look at that?
Vette 3 05 feature car of the year theres a picture of C-4 with Fiske wheels.

Next is a 4 page layout of a 85 Corvette. After that its 2 pages of Callaway cars including a 1988. Theres an article of Carlisle with a full row of GS's. Of coures there is a blonde bimbo but shes hot.

Then theres "Going to the Summit" with 4 close ups of C-4's.
Last but not least is the 92 V-12 Falconer "The Conan Corvette".

Holding guns? Whats wrong with guns?
The tribute to Americas fighting men was great.

Corvettes, chicks and guns, wheres the bikes?

I already voted, but the only subscription I have is to Corvette Magazine, which for my money has the most informative and authoritive articles. I neglected to check 'other'.
