Too many magazines! Vette, Corvette Fever and Corvette Mag. plus a few others. The one thing I hate about magazines is how they do subcriptions. Talk about a rip. They usually go by the month on the issue, not the month you started. Plus whats up getting a March issue near the end of Jan.?????

Thanks for all the great feedback. I've dropped a couple of emails to few people so hopefully this will be a benefit for the C4 group.

We're still only getting about 25% of the lookers polling. Come on everyone get on the list. If you want to see more articles on C4's, we've got to show the right people that we're still here. I am going to take all the user id's and put them in a drawing for a prize package of some kind. I'm sure there will be some R-D Racing stuff in it and maybe a few other things also. (sorry, no tires)

Default We hear ya!

Hi guys. Thanks for the kind words about our magazine. We really appreciate it. Also, we're listening to what you've got to say about what YOU would like to see in the magazine for C4 stuff. We'll continue to cover all the generations but as a fellow C4 owner, we definitely don't want to leave this generation out (We TRY to stay balanced with all the generations). As always, my office door is open at abolig@amosautomotive.com, stop by and let me know your thoughts.

thanks again!

Andy,

Thanks for letting us know you are there.

You may not know it yet, but Corvette Enthusiast was the first to contribute to a goody bag that some lucky member is going to win for taking the time to post on the poll. My "Thanks" to you and Mark for that.

I let my subscriptions to Vette and Corvette Fever lapse. Imho the writing is weak at best, and too many of the articles are peppered with factual errors.

I just got the third issue of my Corvette Enthusiast subscription. I'm still happy with CE. The writing is much better than the other two and I don't recall finding an error yet.

Multiple looks at the thread will skew your results.

I've looked at this thread twice already.

Yes, I voted.

I never limit myself to just a few mags. I like to check out what the competition is up to, so I buy them if they look interesting. Whether it's a import, Ford or whatever. I just like cars in general.

I get all the info I need right here off the forum. Learn something new just about every day.

Now a C4 specific magazine I would subscribe to. Most of the Corvette mags follow mostly what's new, as that seems to be where the most activity is. I do buy them occasionally.

I get Vette and buy CE, and am not happy with Vette right now. The writers try to present what they say in a cute way, and I don't want to wade through that crap. In addition, there is no excuse for the spelling and grammatical errors that are all through that mag! They have a new editor right now, so I'm holding on for a few more months.

I currently get CF & Vette. I was a subscriber to Cars & Parts Corvette when it converted to CE and wrote in with my comments. They actually published my letter, which basically said I thought the magazine was for C1 & C2 or C5 owners, and I liked the stuff by Richard Newton, but they still had time to change my mind. They did a good job with the classic & new stuff, but I own a C4. I let my subscription lapse because they never did change my mind. Has something changed with CE I haven't seen?

I also get Car Craft, Super Chevy, Chevy Hi-performance, Popular Hot Rodding, Street Rodder, Rod & Custom and Hemmings Muscle Machines. Hemmings has stuff in it you don't see anywhere else; no how-to, just interesting reading.

This is cool!

I've had one magazine and one mail order company contact me with prizes for the goody bag. I'll post a list of the contributors later after I give some of the others a chance. I guess we'll know who is interested in C4 business by the end of this poll.

Be sure to post in the poll to get into the drawing.

Thanks,
Dave

I subscribe to Corvette /Chevy Trader. Although the Vette prices are ridiculously skyhigh...I like the parts vendor listings. I am tired of wasting my money on Corvette Fever/ VETTE and the like....I feel like Im working at an AD agency after reading them!!!!

I just purchased a copy of Corvette Enthusiast and it was a great read. I have been getting Corvette Magazine when I can find it. Also this is my third time checking on this thread so the counts continue.

I currently receive Vette, Corvette Fever, and Corvette Magazine. After reading several of the responses here, I am going to go look up Corvette Enthusiast and check that out. I have not seen CE out here on the "Left Coast".

I sent emails to all of the magazines mentioned yesterday and CE is the only one that has responded. They replied with an email and then I received a call from the editor. He's very interested in what's going on in the C4 section. (Guess what's going to be in the goody bag!)

Someone is going to get a bunch of neat stuff. So far the following companies and added items to the bag;

R-D Racing
Corvette Enthusiast
Mid-America Motorworks

For the drawing, I'm going to list everyone's id that polled on a list with a number, then I will email a copy of the list to someone else on the Forum before asking a third party to pick a number for the winner. We'll aim for having the drawing on the 15th. That'll give any other vendors that are interested in the C4 group a chance to get a hold of me with some more goodys.

Thanks,
Dave

I beleive that was an article in Corvette Fever and I'm pretty sure that I have it. I'll try to remember to check this evening. Drop me an email if I don't get back to you.

I am pretty sure I have it, too.

It was about a rather odd very early production 84. White, if I remember rightly.

Yep...it had different inside door handles and a couple other different details.

This looks bad!

Only 166 C4 owners read Corvette magazines?

Come on you guys, we need to let the magazine people know we are still here. I'm pretty sure there are more than 166 people in the C4 section that read Corvette magazines. Let us know what you are reading and you could win a really cool prize bag.

Thanks,
Dave
