Gtech Pro -- COOL
I tried launch several ways and i think i found a great way. however it is to cold and i really couldnt hookup- however the time was 13.3 , but here is the kicker 114mph trap. If i could hook this up i think i would be in the mid-high 12's easily.
1992 LT1 a4
.544 lift cam 224/230
ported heads
1.6rr
3.73 gears
custom tuning by fast at compcam
mezeirre
short tube headers- no cats.

The trap speed is way off btw. I ran a 108 mph (14.15sec) on my stock 85.
The gtech claims the error is due to avg speed over the last 50 vs instantaneous at 1320 feet, but it's bs. That error is only about 1 mph at best for our cars.
I did find the HP readings to be reliable and repeatable though.

for an LT1 with the mods i'd say 108mph is pretty realistic especially with all that wheel spin.
i've used a beltronics vortex FX4 or whatever its called and did my pontiac lemans and noticed it was very accurate! VERY accurate! my car runs consistand 12.60's @108mph a while ago at the track. and when i used the beltronics device that week i ran those numbers at the track when i used this thing.it was regestering what i ran at the track accuately. for the money it was worth it.mph was on and times were consistant unlike the GTEC's. one run in the car i'll run 13.30's 107mph then the next i'll run 12.60's 114mph. WTF!? im not that bad a driver and i know what im doing with it too.it just seems unrealistic to use a STANDARD Gtec to get results. the PRO model i've heard is good though.
