C1, C2, C3, C4, C5 and C6 !!! Corvette is one of the greatest American sport car ever made. This could not be possible without all generations of Corvette. Lets face it all generations of Corvette have had there ups and downs. The bottom line is each generation of Corvette was a fine tuned car above the rest. I wish I had one Corvette from each generation but I have one (and I'm ok with that). When I hear the name Corvette mention, I think pure sport car the American way. I always wanted a Corvette and now I have one. It doesn't matter which generation I have. All what matter is I have a Corvette. Corvette owners are the only people I know that wave at each other on the road. I never experience that owning any other car. Why, because we know what we have. So the next time your in California and you see a red corvette, wave back cuz you can bet that I'll be waving at you no matter what generation you’re driving. PEACE

true, all generations ARE great........aside from the good performance of the C5 out of the box, they still have the fugliest body design ever imagined........i'm dumbfounded how it made it from concept to reality.

I love all vettes. I have to say the c5 does NOT look like a camaro. They are absolutely beautiful! We arent talking about Fords here, we are talking about our newer siblings!!! Wow dont be so harsh on them! I love em! I plan on keeping my c3, c4 and getting a c5 Getting my cake and eating too!

Actually, no it isn't. Beats me.
His profile says he owns a 1996...are we to assume it's a 1996 Corvette?

Anyway, I agree with the statement that the (late) C4 has the best looking rear end ever put on ANY car.
The front end? Well, that's another matter...

Coaster answers the question "Does Darth Vader own a Corvette?";

What I'm suggesting is, it wouldn't be the first time someone pretended to have a vette that was actually owned by their neighbor's dad's uncle.

I've been enough of an *** for a day though.

I love the c1, c2, c3, c4, c5, and c6.

If i had the money, i would have one of each right now.
As everyone here has said, there are pros and cons of each gen.

I would buy a C5 in a heartbeat, and a c6. They are beautiful cars. My corvette passion knows no boundaries. But as many of you would agree, I don't like the big butt too much on the C5's. Also, when i first saw a the '97, my first thought was, "Hmm..That looks like an Acura NSX" Though the c5 is a beautiful car, I was disappointed in the "originality" aspect of the overall design.

And even though I have yet to see a C6 in person,I believe the c6 is a much prettier vehicle than the c5 (I don't like the design of the headlights on the c6, though)

Of course that's just my opinion, i could be wrong.

not all did, my '95 LT1 which i bought new in april '95 came w/the EMT's and mine did not come w/a spare/or jack, IIRC some did/some didnt.

like the C4's myself, just like the look, nothing wrong with the others, but do like the C4 myself, my car is 10 yrs old now, never a major problem, ran a 13.67 1/4 last fall and its still stock, 40K miles now, a great car imho.
