For those who don't know, a few weeks back my car recieved some overspray thanks to a very careless contractor on the base I'm stationed at. Long story short, this was 50 year epoxy based paint an my car had to be sanded down and repainted. My insurance company footed the bill, less my $100 deductable, and they're going after the contractor (once they settle, I'll get my deductable back). Anyway, she just came home today. Overall I think they did a great job. I have to take her back next week to have the front emblem installed (on back order) and some touch up buffing done -- they found a spot on the headlight covers they want to touch up and, when I got her under the lights in my garage, I found a couple spots on the hood I want them to clean up. Anyway she came home today and I took a few shots I though I'd share; let me know what you think ...
For all those who observe it, Happy Easter; to everyone else, have a great weekend
Thats a really cool car, but you can't tell anything about paint in a photo. Have ya spent a summa in the Aridzone?
Washed and waxed her today, the few swirl marks I saw last night came right out (gotta love Zaino Z5). I know it's hard to tell in the pics, but they did an excellent job -- not a swirl mark or light scratch to be found.
As to your question, no, this will be our first our first summer here. I heard the stories about what the sun can do to the paint, but I spent 9 years in Hawaii and have learned how to protect my cars -- plenty of wax/polish

Here's a couple of close ups that may show the quality a little better ... After washing and waxing her today, I could see they did an outstanding job. The swirl marks I saw last night came right out with Zaino Z5
