When I do see a Vette (not that many out here in the boonies) they wave. C5's, C4's haven't seen a C6 yet (while in my vette).

I don't know. I got two C5s, a C4, and two C3s all in one day. Maybe because it was the first 70 degree day since September.

Default Trip to Ecklers

Being it was a nice day Saturday I decided to take my 3 year old with me to Ecklers. 5 C5 owners.......no return waves. 1 Harley rider....big wave. Figure that one.

I've almost never missed a wave. I've had vettes wave to me when I'm in the big brown truck, somehow they know I'm a vette owner
People love the truck!

I'm 1 for 1 with C6s. Most C5s don't, half C4s do, most C3s do, all C2s do, haven't passed a C1 in the vette...

Funny this thread was started today, as I got my 1st wave(s) yesterday. Since I bought my '85 before Christmas I've made a point of waving without any being returned. Yesterday, I saw a blue C5 coming toward me. I was prepared to wave, but his hand shot up first! . About 20 minutes later I overtook a black C5 and we both waved at the same time

When I was a kid I learned about the wave, all the bikers do it, even the crotchrocket guys, we waved in our Land Cruiser (except to Jeeps).

Up in eastern Montana, you wave at EVERY car. It's wierd. I guess its because seeing an oncoming car up there is such a rare occurence.

after our run yesterday morning we were headed to get a quick bite at BK and just as we got in town we see and early c4, greyish coupe, but we were at the stop light and he was turning onto the street we were on. We were a few cars back and he made it through a light that we didn't. About halfway through town, as we got into the turning lane fro BK, we were right next to him. He looked over and my wife and I both waved and he returned it.

On other occasions we've been waved at by c5's (he waved before us! who'da thunk it!?) on down to c3's. Haven't seen a c1/c2 while in the vette but I'm sure they would!

Here in the land of corvettes, Kentucky, to me the wave was a dying tradition.....TILL I was toatlly astonished that every day I drove last week, I got a wave from every single C4 and C5 I saw - which was about 10 all together. OMFG! I even got a wave from a new Mustang owner!

You can buy this plate from HERE
