Default 88 vette 35th anniversary question

could you get a manual transmission in the white 35th anniversary edition or did all 2,050 come with automatic transmissions?

The above will show you could order the 35th coupe with either, how many of which not sure?

Thouth over 4,000 Corvettes in '88 were sold with the 4+3 manual transmission, only about 30 of the 2,050 35th Anniversary cars came equipped with that option.

There are a few of them around but will be rather rare indeed.

I have heard 299 and 266 for the 4+3's I also heard 199 before so I am a bit confused...

Part of the problem is, if it is online, it must be true!

Bottom line, safe bet is under 300, as I have not heard of numbers higher than that -

I know one of the elusive 4+3 cars got "wrapped" and totalled back in 1990 - last I saw it, it was @ the police yard - DWI!
