Headliner
JTK
Carefully pull down your existing headliner trying to be careful not to bend the backer board. Mine was velcroed up!! Made it really easy!!! But I've heard some people say there's were glued.
Once it's down, remove the old fabric and get rid of it. No, as much as you think you can, trying to reglue the old fabric will only last you a week or so and you'll be back in the same boat. Do it right and you'll be much happier.
Try to get as much of the old headliner fabric remnants off of the old backer board as possible. You want it to be clean.
Cut your new headliner fabric leaving enough to fold over on the edges (the way the original was.). Using 3M spray adhesive, carefully glue it to the backer board. Give it time to set up and reinstall it in the car.
I'm in the process of making a "How to" with pictures that I'll be putting in .pdf form, but it's not done yet... sorry.
A few weeks ago, someone told me JB666 had spare headliner fabric. I emialed him and he was a great help! He sent me a couple yards of headliner fabric for the cost of shipping. Great guy. If you need headliner fabric, i'd try to email him and see if he has any left.
