I wish I could post this question anynomously but here goes..
My vette seldom sits outside for more than 2 hours so keeping the
interior cool is not a concern, however, I do like some of these mirror like tints that I have seen on some BMW's and Lexus SUV's.
Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Both of these cars are
high value cars, granted not with the rep of a vette, but I was thinking about getting my rear window done with this kind of tint. It doesn't really look like a mirror, just somewhat reflective.
I'm going to be having this done soon, 35% sides/20% back...My question is how long should this job take a good installer? I've heard an hour, but that sounds like it's rushing it.
I wish I would have scraped off the rear window defrost conductive copper paint with a razor blade before I had my windows tinted. If I have them done again ,it will be off.
when it gets removed it can take the rear demister grid off with it. that happened to my 87 just before i bought it, cause the tint it had on the rear hatch was too dark for australia and the dealer took it off, along with my rear demister.
