Go for it if that's what you dig! I'd love to have a '57 or a '63-'67 coupe but since those are in the stratoshere, I'll settle for adding an LT4 to the stable one of these days.

Having a '95 6-speed coupe and a '82 CE in the driveway, I have to say that for excitement, the '95 is more fun than a harem of twenty somethings on a Saturday night.... uh, well maybe I'm gettin' carried away.

And although I get a lot of attention with the '95, the '82 is a hands down winner when it comes to gathering a crowd. Even if it doesn't handle like the '95, it's still a rush every time I drive it.

If I'd only had something like that in high school!

Ok, the poll brings up a question for me. Having been away from corvettes for a very long time, the differance between my old C1 and my current 86 Z51 is amazing, so is the C5 that far ahead of the C4 in terms of handling and power, or is it more of just a gen. newer thing? How about some input from the people who have driven both or who own both, please no car mag reveues, if they could drive,......they wouldn't be writing for a living. ....joe

I have driven 5 or 6 C5s and they handle better with less drama, however, in a C5 I feel like I am in a Lexus vice a sports car. IMO GM goofed on the driving position in the C5 in comparison with a C4, however, in handling, power, and braking C5 all the way. I love that C5 rear too! However, IMO(again) the styling of a C3 beats the C4-C6.
