I get comments all the time on the wing on my 86.
Everyone says the same thing ,why don't you take that ugly thing off that poor car.
I just say go ahead I'll watch.
I am to lazzy to take it off .

I don't mind the wings if they're small and invisible.... I think they're a cheap, unimaginative, white trash way of accessorizing. There's many subtle things that can be done to set it apart without bolting some crappy wing to it.

I guess GM is to blame for producing a beautiful car that's hard to improve on visually (not includiing the ugly factory wheels).

Sorry. They aren't made any more. They're called RIKEN and I added the 84 black center cap. You might find some that look similar on eBay or at a couple of the wheel shops. I believe BBS does something similar.

if you're intent on ruining your vette, by all means get yourself a dandy little wing. it'll most definitely trash it up.

if you're intent on keeping the classy OE lines, please by all means leave it alone. wings are unnatural on a corvette.

Yea, your Vette is really nice. The improved shade of paint and the deep polished rims really make it look .

It don't need no wing.

rikens also came in silver or gold centers - i have a set of silver. i've seen used sets pop up from time to time - they go for around $250/set depending on condition

BTW - some cars don't need wings to fly!

When I painted my 91, I put a wing on then off, then on just to see if I liked it before I actually bolted it onto the car. I decided to go ahead and install. Now I regret it and am going to remove and repair.

Whoa, did he upgrade to a turbine engine too. Looks like it's ready for lift off...or atleast be able to pull a good wheel stand with all that extra weight in the back. Some peoples children.

Once my car is capable of running over 200 mph, then and only then would I ever consider installing a wing.

I wouldn't want a wing in on car unless it was a factory option. Supras do have good wings, and so does Hooters.
