Default What's wrong with a wing?

The greenwood ones are not the best choice, but personally I can't say anything bad about this one:

Aluminum wings are only for top fuel dragsters. If you can't do a quarter in less than 7 seconds or at least 200 mph you shouldn't have a wing or you'd be posing.

about posing, alot of people get rollbars in their cars without needing them. Most people don't do the R&D necessary to know why these things are needed. but personally once I have the guts to push the car past 170 i may consider it, if it provides help.

I saw an integra owner at the track last weekend with a cage. Figured he must be running some monstrous sleeper 10 second car.

Nope. Stock motor. Bolt in cage. I beat him in the 1/8th by 2 seconds.

These ricers sure go to great lengths. Why not make the damn cage from pvc?

Well the so called "Purest" of the forum has spoken Nothing new on this forum! Someone asks where he can purchase a mod and maybe three members advise him where to go. Then the rest of the Corvette forum ***** come out and let us know how we should mod our Vettes This forum is truely going Down Hill And the funny thing is the forum members who state that their money should be put into their engine rather then these mods could not keep within 10 car lengths of my Vette and I have all their so called "Ricer" mods they hate. What is really funny is I have met people on this forum in person who have made the same "ricer" statements in this kind of thread and give nothing but compliments to my car in person Once again this forum is getting pretty sad! What will you be throwing rocks at next? :o

LOL PVC pipe roll cage! Yeah, they have too much money for looks and style of a race show car but none for the motor. Must be making money from the drugs they sell.

If only they'd be smart and spend the money the right way, I think they'd get a lot more respect for "racing" import cars, not "ricing them out."
