Are there any other "factory" options he's telling you about that seem sketchy?

I am looking at a 86 for my son and the guy told me the spoiler is from the factory. The RPO codes have been torn up, so that is no help, it looks like the same spoiler from the Z an TA's.
My questions are -
Did C4's ever have and option for spoilers and if so, what did they look like?

...unless you are talking about the 3 pc black plastic "spoiler" that hangs down in front, under the bumper - then no, they did not.
There was an 88 GTO kit that GM dealers sold but that was not "factory" in the true sense.

well, there was a greenwood kit that looks like it would be something that was factory, Ive seen them.
They look nice. Ask him if it says GREENWOOD anywhere.
The ones I have seen say "CORVETTE" on the outer edges of the rear wing.

Yes there was a factort spoiler!
In 88 you could get a rear spoiler,rocker panels,front spoiler. These were designed for IMSA racing program. There were very few made and they were droped after the 1988 racing season.
If it is one of them you are one of the lucky few. You should sell it in the barret jackson auction. Those drunk rich guys should give you at least $500,000 for the car.
