Before you make the decision to take it to the dealership, ask them when was the last time they worked on a 16 year old Vette. Do yourself a favor and take it to a Corvette shop or better yet, do it yourself. Nothing you mentioned is difficult to do yourself but at $75.00, why not put those extra dollars into something you really want.

QUICKSAND, the more youn do the deeper you get. To do all that has been suggested,and all excellent in their own right, you will be better off buying a new ZZ4. Allow me to make two suggestions: first check with the Ft Sill auto craft shop. They may have a clue as to a decent Vette shop. Same for the local Corvette club. I would steer clear of the stealership unless it is absolutely necessary.
