Default Trim plate

Hi guys....is there another trim plate besides the one on the driver door? I checked, and the trim "plate" (really its a sticker) was removed. Why would somenoe remove this? And is there another? I'm trying to check options and such for ****s and giggles. I have the vin, but no trim codes. Thanks!

The build sheet is supposed to be attached to the fuel tank. Where? I don't know. But I have a feeling that it could be quite a chore to get to it. You can also order a copy of the build sheet and window sticker from the National Corvette Museum form their website (I did and it was around $70 or $80). I did this for a little history on my car and out of curiosity. I think that it was well worth it.

Look under the center console lid. A sticker there will tell all.

http://www.corvettemuseum.com/

Click on the link. Contact the NCM and for a small fee they will print out the window sticker for you. Build sheet too.

With a little effort, you can determine what options your car came with since all but 2 are readily determinable. The two I can't tell are CA emissions (NN5) and both tops (C2L). All others are either there or not, can be measured to verify or, like the axle ratio which was etched on the bottom of the differential case. If you want to get into it, drop me an e-mail with your telephone # and I'll call you or get a copy of Mike Antonick's book "Cor-vette Specs", pp102-103, 106-109.
