Folks...Pete isn't asking anyone to race their own vette for pinks...he is suggesting we build a forum C4 from used parts and race it for charity...
I would do what I could and I suggest the race be at one of the Orlando shows so I can be on the pit crew...he he he
BTW, the host is a knucklehead and as long as he is there the show will never have any credibility with racers...
On all 3 points.
I would never put up my car. Too much time and money in it to lose. Fwiw, it seems to have drawn the same opinions over in tgo. Most think the idea is silly, a few think it could work.

I have a solid 406 engine (long block)on a stand I would be willing to donate.
By the way, I thought the loser's car went to the winner. How would the "auction for charity" work into that??????
Also, the show has no street credibility...it's just a staged "reality" show, fer cryin' out loud...but who wouldn't like to be involved in a project for it?
Pete sorry on this one! That show is quiet sorry too!(personal opinion) I've watched a few times actualy maybe more than I needed to to develope a disinterest for someone who gives away a win when they did it right the first time and the other competitor starts B...CH and whine after he loses. What's done is done and it should stay that way!
Heck! No! I wont put my Vette's pink up for nothin'.
Now I would entertain the idea of snatchin' another forum members Vette and having someone totally restoring it for them and look at the suprise in their face!(just a thought though)
Thanks,Matt
lol anytime you wonna ****** my car up and wrench on it for free, feel free to.

I am the unofficial trans guy in c4 tech. I could handle the trans. I don't know if I can afford to do the trans, parts and the converter though. Trans and rebuild parts for sure. The third gen guys are talking about e-baying them off (if they win)and donating the cash to charity. We cannot guarantee what they do, but we certainly can auction off and donate if we win. That is guaranteed. If for no other reason, I would do it for St. Judes. Nothing worse than sick kids. Especially cancer

the tgo guys are just skeered that the almighty MOJO would kick your punk **** and your wimpy camaro all over the track and win the fbody hands down (just playing mang).
This sounds awesome. If it goes to a charity, like St Judes , like the other thread shows. I am in. I have a few parts laying around. They should last a few runs
Hard to say. In less than 24 hrs, we have secured a complete longblock and a transmission and others have implied possible time and money commitments. Not bad for 24hrs
