I just noticed that the forum has 123,584 members. If 1/2 of them contributed something worth 30 cents, it would allow a $20,000 budget.
I mentioned on tgo that I believe raising money is easy. Getting people to commit to the logistics will likely be the deal breaker.
Storing the car
building the car
testing the car
driving to the track the show will use
crew duties
These are the tough ones.
I made my old emblems look great with a spritz of semi-gloss black paint . Don't throw those emblems away yet.
Even if some don't have parts there will always be a need for oil, filters, coolant etc. not to mention $$$ donation towards the project.
I would donate time as well, but would need to know in advance to make the appropriatte plans.
