Old school?
Who is going to keep their wheels stock, and why?

I am, I want the entire car kept a completely stock appearance. Why change a classic vehicle that looks great as is?

I love the wheels on my 90, they were only used that one year. They are stock except that I've had them polished and I wouldn't replace them.

I think that when people change the rims and mod their cars they are showing they are bored with the car they originally bought.

What about changing the color, is that considered a mod?

When I see a vette with non-stock wheels, I know that car has been monkeyed with.

What if you have a 84 or 85 with the black in the centre of the wheels, they are rather homely?

Some people think they are just adding stuff that GM should have add back in the mid 80's.

Me, because:
1. most wheels out there are "dime a doz. designs."
2. On some of my cars, it would only make for a heavier wheel.
3. Because stock isn't a "bad thing" - esp. when it comes to wheels.

I was going to keep them stock until I saw ZO6 wheels and then saw them on a C4. Basically though, I do like my overall stock appearance. Other than the wheels, it still looks mostly stock except for ZO6 brakes and a roll bar which is quite visible through the rear glass. Oh, I almost forgot, it also has brake cooling ducts in the front spoiler.

It seems like every car on the road has five-spoke wheels.

I like my stock sawblades as well, though I am thinking of installing white GS/ZR1 wheels on my 86.

Wheels are the easiest mod to do without doing anything to the car that can't be reversed.
Everyone can't be the same.
I have stock wheels on one right now, but only because I needed tires for the AFS rims.
I have three complete sets of stock sawblades stored away, one even has the original type tire on them.
I don't belive in too many body mods, but we all have to be different.
There ain't nobody here more old school than me and back in the day and in the present, buying a set of wheels was always among the first things you did to make the car your own.

First thing I changed was the sawblades. I sold them so they are never going back on as long as I own it.
