thermostat question...
Are all thermostats created equal?
I am going to install a Hypertech thermomaster chip next week.
The guy I bought it from also included his 160 thermostat that he pulled, which is allegedy a hypertech as well.
The used thermostat idea kinda bugs me, even if it does open like it should ( I dropped it in boiling water to make sure).
As far as I know, all thermostats are created equal, and will probley just go but a new one anyway.
Is any brand better than another?
Should I spend the extra bucks and actually order a new hypertech? Seems like your just buying the name :s
If this one works, should I even worry about it, and drop it in?
