Hey Mike,
How much downforce do you get from your "wing"?
Is it fully adjustable from the inside?

14 ounces front and rear. I installed one on the front also. The weight shifts as I eat , er... move the
weights around. (does tend to mess up the steering wheel)

I am so glad that this topic has come up. I don't think that it is human nature but rather the nature of some humans to bash and slam. We are now in a time of uncivil behavior that many people attempt to excuse by saying "well i'm just not politically correct". We all have differences of opinion and should feel free to voice them. However we don't need to belittle or tear down others to make our point more valid(addition by subtraction).
It is also interesting to me that when the C5 came out C3 and C4 gens got together on their high horses to proclaim it "not a Vette". They said that the front end looked like a Mazda or a Ford Probe and the back end looked like a kit car. Now it seems that C3s have forgotten their enthusiastic support of the C4.
Car people should all respect each other whether import, domestic or whatever catagory. After all we have in common that we spend sick amounts of money on them and love it.

As long as it says Corvette on it, who cares what year it is? We own cars that a lot of people just dream about.

You'd probably expect that all Corvettes would be equally accepted in the "club", but they are vastly different. C1/C2 owners are probably more collectors than anything. C3 and C4 owners vary wildly (from collectors to DIY sports car guys). C5s and C6s are also in a class of their own. They represent people usually pay more to own a car sooner. None of these are good/bad, they just represent different classes of owners, body styles, and technology. And, where there's a difference in classes, there will alway be an "I'm better than you attitude. I don't see how this is surprising. At least not in the society we live in.
You also have to remember that America is about capitalism. Capitalism is about making money (and usually off someone else). By nature, we compete against each other. Why shouldn't we say my car is better than yours?
There's other reasons too. This thread shouldn't be about why the rift exists. It should be about finding a way to eliminate it. Right?
